Project Final Report

State Synthesis Reports:

The goal of the DGS was to gain a synoptic view of implementation of the SWAPs by interviewing state agency plan coordinators and conservation partners. Questions related to conservation opportunities, impediments, new tools and approaches, and examples of especially noteworthy conservation approaches and projects.  All states have a 3-6 page summary report, while the southeastern states completed by the Duke seminar and northeastern states by the University of Michigan seminar also have an extended version.

Regional Synthesis Reports:

The Michigan and Duke seminars synthesized information from their state reports both to contrast differences between plans and to identify commonalities across the Northeastern and Southeastern regions.

Other Publications:

References to peer-reviewed journal papers and other publications developed through the seminar.
