COASTAL SAGE-CHAPARRAL SCRUB (37G00) :


A mix of sclerophyllous, woody chaparral species and drought-deciduous, malacophyllous sage scrub species.

SITE FACTORS:

Apparently a post-fire successional community. Site factors need clarification. A catch-all type intermediate between Coastal Scrubs (32000) and chaparrals (37000).

DISTRIBUTION:

Outer Coast Ranges and Peninsular Range from the Big Sur Coast south to Baja.
