Chain-node topology present.

Completeness Report: Minor roads deliberately omitted. Major roads only.

Horizontal Positional Accuracy: 40 meters
Horizontal Positional Accuracy Explanation: Resolution as reported
Vertical Positional Accuracy: n/a
Vertical Positional Accuracy Explanation: n/a

Source Information:

The original DLG files were extracted from a May 1993 USGS CD-ROM containing DLG files in 100K tiles for the Central Pacific States, otherwise known as Area 12 by the USGS National Mapping Division.

Source Date: The DLG data vintage is that which can be found from USGS National Mapping Division.

Source Distance Resolution: n/a

Process Description:

An AML was written to convert the DLG to ARC format and use the appropriate major/minor codes to attribute the items NUM and TYPE. The coverage was projected from UTM to Albers Equal Area by the UCSB Biogeography Lab.
